We are located in St Petersburg, Florida
If you would like to view a sample before placing your full order, you can order a single tile or mosaic on our site. Unless you request a different delivery method during checkout, we will ship your sample order via UPS Ground. Do I need to confirm whether a product is in stock before placing my order? No, you do not. Because we are a manufacturer and wholesaler, we stock most items in very large quantities. We can easily accommodate most large projects without any difficulty.
Cabinet cost depends on many factors including style, quantity, wood type and finish. However, we are a complete package deal from design to deliver and install complete – including finish, applied hardware, and all trims (crown moulding and base shoe) – all that is left is the countertop and plumbing. Remember that not all of this is included with a “box” cabinet, and you must consider all of the costs when comparing. In addition, please reference our reviews – you will get every “penny” worth from Custom Hardwoods, including exceptional customer service.
Lead time varies, so you must contact us before demolition begins. With new construction, we need to be contacted as soon as a final drawing is completed and before construction begins.

Marble slabs or tiles find versatile applications in various settings, including:
– Countertops (for both kitchens and bathrooms)
– Flooring (indoors or outdoors)
– Backsplashes
– Bathroom walls
– Shower walls, tub surrounds, and shower floors
– Fireplace surrounds
– Home office desks or counters
– Butler’s pantry counters
– Scullery counters

Marble boasts exquisite beauty, but before incorporating it into your bathroom or
kitchen, essential to consider some vital aspects:

Yes, marble is porous, which means it can absorb water and other liquids into tiny surface holes.
Due to its porous nature, marble countertops, backsplashes, floors, or showers require regular applications of marble sealer to prevent damage from liquids. Properly sealed marble should repel liquids, while unsealed marble may absorb them, potentially leading to staining.
Marble, though durable, is softer than granite and other stones, making it susceptible to scratching. Avoid using knives directly on marble surfaces to prevent scratches and dulling of knife edges.
Marble exhibits heat resistance, making it less prone to damage from hot pots compared to some countertop surfaces. However, using trivets or potholders is still recommended to prevent surface burns or discoloration.
Unsealed marble is susceptible to staining, especially from liquids like wine or tomato juice. Regular sealing helps mitigate this risk, ensuring easier stain removal.
Marble countertops offer durability but are vulnerable to chipping, scratching, and staining if not properly maintained. While suitable for some areas, they may not withstand the wear and tear typical in kitchens.
Both marble and granite are natural stones renowned for their beauty and durability. Marble, a metamorphic/sedimentary rock, is porous and prone to staining, while granite, a metamorphic/igneous rock, is harder and less likely to scratch or chip.
Cultured marble is an engineered stone made from marble dust, pigments, and resins. While less expensive and low-maintenance compared to natural marble, it lacks the natural stone's unique beauty and veining. In summary, while marble offers timeless elegance, understanding its properties and maintenance requirements is crucial for making informed decisions regarding its use in your home.

Types of Windows to Choose From:

When considering window options, homeowners will encounter various types, but most fall into six primary categories:

Double Hung Windows

Featuring two sliding sashes, double hung windows are incredibly popular and provide excellent ventilation. However, airflow is limited to half of the window opening area.

Casement Windows

These windows are hinged on one side, opening outward using a crank. They offer full ventilation and seal tightly when closed.

Awning Windows

Hinged at the top, awning windows swing outward and are commonly installed high on walls, particularly in basements.

Bay and Bow Windows

These multi-window units project out from the wall, increasing light intake and providing additional space for decoration or seating.

Picture Windows

Non-operable and usually large in size, picture windows serve as a focal point in a room.

Specialty Windows

Including various shapes like round-top, octagon, and other unique designs, specialty windows cater to specific architectural styles or preferences.

Key Terminology for Discussing Windows:

The realm of fenestration, which refers to the design and arrangement of windows, involves several essential terms that homeowners may not be familiar with. Here's a breakdown of crucial window terminology: All windows comprise glass panes, known as glazing, secured within a four-part frame. The framed glazing operates independently and is termed a sash. The vertical components of the sash are called stiles, while the horizontal elements are referred to as the top rail and bottom rail. Sashes are installed within a framed opening bordered by two side jambs, a head jamb, and a sill. The type of window and its operation depend on how the sashes are installed.

What's the Difference Between Replacement Windows and Windows for New Construction?

Yes, there is a distinction between these two types of windows. Windows designed for new construction are typically installed during the building process, often before siding is added. They commonly feature flanges that are fastened to the window framing. On the other hand, replacement windows are specifically sized to fit into existing window openings without necessitating the removal of any siding.
